When my son and daughter were little, Jason was about 2 and Kathleen about 10 we had a pastel artist do a portrait of them at Disney land...
She was good enough that she even caught the tiredness in Jason Face... that was before I started doing mu woodwork, so we had it professionally framed. The frame cost more than the painting.

Love the painting... treasure it. Beautiful grandchildren.

Hey Allen, have plans for a beautiful frame embellished on a lathe then a slot cut,,,,,,,, oh, uhmmmmm, Just pulling your leg my friend. Beautiful children, inherited a wonderful set of grandparents and the grandpa will create a wonderful frame for this family heirloom.

I have to build a new 45 degree mile jig the bottom warped slightly and I noticed my frame(s) are off so slightly
Not doing it now but this frame is done
Sapele and red oak
Simple
During shop cleanup I found a box of small hanging cleats and just in time
